Hello! I'm Dr. Obioha, also known as Dr. O! I am a certified executive coach, speaker, and consultant. I have served as a consultant, media trainer, communications strategist, and DEI expert to C-suite leaders at major organizations. As a wife, mother and professional I struggled with imposter syndrome, self-doubt, burn out and other challenges that kept me from reaching my full potential. I am not alone. While the number of women in leadership roles is growing, they still only occupy about 21% of C-suite positions, according to McKinsey & Company. The barriers of bias, stereotypes, and the lack of supportive workplace cultures contribute to this under-representation. Our mission at Empress is to close the gap by helping women leaders reach their full potential through effective strategies. According to a study by the International Coach Federation (ICF), about 71% of executives and senior managers report working with a coach at some point in their careers. This indicates a significant trend towards coaching as a valuable tool for leadership development.
